ALOHA offers a comprehensive curriculum that focuses on enhancing a child’s executive functions such as problem-solving, time management, planning, working memory, impulse control, sustained attention, and flexible thinking. It provides training that enables children to perform calculations swiftly and accurately without relying on external tools such as calculators, computers, or other gadgets. The program utilizes specific teaching methods to help children improve their ability to solve math problems using their mental abilities, regardless of the complexity of the numbers involved. The program aims to assist children in completing their homework more efficiently, develop exceptional mental calculation skills, improve problem-solving abilities, and enhance their capacity to remember information and visualize conceptual maps in their minds.
ALOHA Mental Arithmetic goes beyond mathematical skills and targets a child's IQ, EQ (emotional intelligence), AQ (adversity quotient), and (social quotient). ALOHA also develops children’s mental and social development through its healthy regional, national, and international competitions. By engaging in ALOHA, children can strengthen their cognitive abilities and build confidence in their math skills, ultimately alleviating math anxiety and amplifying the preparation for their future.
ALOHA, which stands for Abacus Learning of Higher Arithmetic, is a mental math brain development program specifically designed for children ages 4 to 13. It was founded in 1993 by Mr. Loh Mun Sung, who adapted and developed the concept based on the Abacus Computational methods from China and Taiwan. The program was initially introduced in Malaysia and gained popularity, leading to its expansion to more than 40 countries. With its global presence and three-decade legacy, ALOHA continues to engage math the math education curriculum with an approach that aside from enriching young minds, also prepares them for the challenges of the twenty-first century.

I am the second child in the family attending ALOHA, years back my Kuya used to be an ALOHA student and he did very well in his class. ALOHA helped me to become more efficient and fast in solving mathematical problems. My mom said that our baby who is coming soon will also become ALOHA kid."

I always want to come in my ALOHA class because I learn a lot from the games and activity our teacher prepare to us. I learn to solve mathematical equation in just seconds, without using my hands and calculators. It’s really more fun in ALOHA."

Since my child started ALOHA, he became more interested in numbers and confident in his answers. He even sometimes compete with his siblings and end up with correct answer, considering he is the youngest among them, ALOHA really made a difference in his perspective when it comes to numbers.
